On Wednesday September 29th Gaurav will present at the UKOUG (UK Oracle User Group) the case study “How Oracle Apex Can Be an Extremely Effective Tool As an Data Archiving Solution”.
In this session attendees will learn how Oracle Apex can be a very effective solution for securing historical data.
It is a very common scenario that many customers when migrating their systems do not take with them the historical data. But they need somewhere to put the historical data to comply to legal and other requirements.
In this session we will look at two cases – Norwegian Public Roads Administration and one of the largest Telecom providers of Norway. NPRA migrated their Payroll, Core HR, Time & attendance, and Expenses; Telco migrated their finance system.
At NPRA we used Oracle Apex to store and secure all the historical data for these systems and few more. In this session attendees will look at the NPRA’s case in details and learn how Oracle Apex is an extremely well-suited tool for such scenarios.
